Well, it's been a while since I posted anything. Lately, I haven't been writing anything in my posts, just showing credits. Today is different. It's been hard escaping rl lately. There is so much going on.
I'm in sort of a metamorphosis, starting a new chapter in my rl. Ridding myself of 25 years of junk (from renters, kids, my business, pets, tons!) and trauma from my home via 2 dumpsters. Needed repairs are happening. It's been about a month of doing this. It's a lot. I've been exhausted. No end in sight.
Yet, all the weeks I haven't posted, I've still managed to purchase a lot. Shopping, shopping, and more shopping. This is where sl and rl collide. I look at unopened boxes of things I ordered in the middle of the night, things I "must have", both in rl and now sl. Overwhelming. I've set up five photo shoots. Couldn't finish any of them. Just unfocused. Uninspired. I'm rl tired and it's flowing into sl.
This shoot I had to do. It's the last at my old home. I had 8 months on my lease before I left. That 8 months have gone so fast. I love/hate that place, a dome that I call Bella (partial name of the "landlord").
It's no secret that Amethyst is an alt. Not a sneaky alt, just another avi. My original avi had an awful time, in an awful sl relationship for years. I lived with him.
When the dirty cheat tossed me aside like an old shoe, I had to go somewhere. I found this dome and for 7 years it's been my home. It was great for many years, now, there are domes upon domes crowding me. Lots of busybodies spying on me. I'd had enough. Bought my own land and now I'm so much happier.
I did this shoot as the last one in that dome. The huge dome that fits four or five skyboxes at a time. This shoot is in a skybox by SynCo. It's too big for my new studio, so it's the last dome I'll be in, in the big dome.
Everything I'm wearing are from previous weekend sales, within the past month.
Besides shopping, I've also decided to be a fairy, but I'm not ready to share those pics yet. Kind of scared about it. But, sooner or later, I will.
