I think the time has come. The time to ditch my favorite skin because it's too barbie. I have to wear so many add-ons, thank you Izzie's, trying to alleviate that, but in every pic, my face still looks washed out. I'm not barbie in any life.
While I realize this is mostly due to my not being much of a photographer, it did have a lot to do with the skin. So, I pulled out my skin by Mila, that I have used here and there, but really loved my current skin so much, I just filed her away.
As soon as I put it on, I felt better. I added a few facial imperfections, because I am not looking for perfection, and I'm happy with the end product, even though it still sort of looks washed out. This is totally due to my lack of photography abilities.
This shoot was done last week, originally in my old skin, and then the Mila skin. The difference is slight, but exactly what I wanted. See last pic below (and a different location).
I've been very busy in rl, so I'm behind in taking and posting my shoots. And, I saved a ton of Lindens this weekend, only able to hit up the sales on Saturday.
The outfit is something I picked up at a Saturday Sale a few weeks back . It's by Cosmic Dust and is a fatpack with some really nice muted colors, so you can mix and match, including Freya.
The shoes I found on MP when I was looking for shoes for my Freya body. I just want one damn complete outfit for her. Unfortunately, while the description says they're Belleza, the shoes are not for Freya.
So, Maitreya Lara, it is. They matched perfectly, so ya know. I had to.
