My mantra - You can take the girl out of Chicago, but you can't take Chicago out of the girl. I've lived in the PNW for over 20 years. When someone asks where I'm from, I automatically say Chicago.
When I saw this pose, I knew that sl and rl aren't so different. I may live on a tropical island in sl, but when push comes to shove, I'm a city girl in every life.
Let's start with the pose, then. It's called City Girl, by Luane's World. I got it off the Fly By Friday list. The cute bag is included. There are five different poses with mirrors too. All were cute. This one needed a tiny bit of adjusting. But, that literally took ten seconds.
The outfit. The romper I'm wearing is by Off-Line. The bra and the romper are two separate pieces. There was a nice selection to choose from, and, of course, I played it safe with black.
It was from the FLF Birthday Bash. And, btw, that sale has tons of free gifts. Like tons. I haven't gone through them yet, but will soon. Everything there is $50. I picked up a few things including this romper.
Not sure why my boobs have what looks like spotlights on them. But, it is what it is. I'm posting
My shoes are by Salvadori. I really like them. They come with a fatpack hud, with some nice colors that actually work well with my outfits. I wear them a lot.
However, the one issue I have is the sound. It's really annoying and can't be turned off. I'm sorry, in advance, if I'm walking somewhere near you. Nothing I can do about it. Turn down your volume. That's what I do.
The necklace is by Romazin. And, it was perfect for my needs. The neckline on my romper has a gap. This was the perfect fit, lingering in my inventory.
I don't know about you, but I photograph and file away every inventory item, whether they come with pics or not. If they don't it takes less than a minute to photograph and file away outside of sl.
I use Google photos, which is 15 GB for free. It's easy to sort and search. Plus, you don't need a Flickr Pro account or to pay $10 to save to inventory. If you run out of room, just create a new email, and share your folders. Boom.
Anyhow, in a situation like this, it was easy to sort through it all. I have a pretty solid system for my inventory. It's taken many years to get it right. Recently, I've condensed 75,000 pieces to 28,000, just by cleaning out duplicates, landmarks, notecards, etc.
