It's hot outside. Like, really hot here in Portland. But, in the shade, it's actually not torturous. It's a "dry heat". I understand that because I am from Chicago, where it is so humid, you can't even breathe, in the sun or the shade.
In either place, hot weather means finding a place to take a dip. Back home, it was the crowded neighborhood pool, or The Oak Street Beach, which is cement next to Lake Shore Drive. Here, it's one of a zillion lakes, rivers, ponds - no cement, just dirt or sand. So much nicer.
When I saw Mina's wet/dry hair offering on Saturday Sale, I knew I was going to get in the water somewhere. So cool. The hair can be wet or dry, and also an animated water droplet option. It' can't really be seen in the pictures, but it's dripping.
Since it was a wet-shoot. I am wearing Izzie's Wet Body & Face add-on. It's bom and comes in a bunch of different options. Looks real to me.
Then, I remembered I had a gift certificate from SLB19 for Blueberry, where I'd seen this wet/dry dress. It has a great hud with different intensities. Looks perfect with the hair and the skin. Pulled the whole thing together.
The necklace is by Kibitz and was on the Happy Weekend list. I purchased the matching bracelet last week, so I had to buy it, like it or not. And, I like it.
The rings by Ysoral were from the Glorious Days Sale. I really got them because they have a Belleza option, which as I mentioned in my last post, is a rare find. Not only do they work with both my bodies, they are cute and say Queen, which is my first name.
The backdrop is by Shorty Guardian Creations and was a whopping $5 on MP. It comes with a boat and water, but I didn't want the boat or the water, so I deconstructed the whole thing and added my own water, by Nekka. Looks just the way I wanted it to.
Then I just pulled out all the tropical plants and bushes from my endless inventory and made such a cute little scene. Well, at least I think it's cute.
I bought the birds for my new island home. They are by TLC and are slightly animated. They are really detailed and can be modified, but I didn't do any of that. They are great they way they are.
The drink I picked up at ChicChica off the Saturday Sale list. It comes with handhelds & decor options. Also, it can be a pineapple or a watermelon floatie. Nothing like a cool soda after a swim.
